Innovative Collaboration Models Between Product Managers and R\&D Teams in Ambient Programming
This talk will explore how AI programming assistants can optimize collaboration among product managers, UX/UI designers, and developers during product prototype development, accelerating the pace of validating product value. Current challenges in product development include: * Product managers struggle to quickly turn ideas into usable prototypes. * Team collaboration efficiency is low. * The cost of testing new ideas is high. * UX/UI designers and developers often lack concrete, runnable examples and face unclear requirements. These issues lead to frequent rework and delay value validation. To address these problems and leverage the speed of generating runnable prototypes through cloud-based AI IDEs, the talk proposes three new collaboration models: 1. **Improved Existing Model (Providing Runnable Prototypes):** Product managers create usable prototypes quickly via simple language descriptions, helping the team better understand requirements. 2. **Team Co-creation Model (Frontloading Team Validation):** Product managers produce multiple prototypes for team members to evaluate and select, preventing rework caused by technical feasibility issues. 3. **User Co-creation Model (Frontloading User Validation):** Users test multiple prototypes to provide early feedback based on their experience. Teams new to this approach can start with the first model and gradually adopt the others. While AI accelerates development, the role of UX/UI designers remains vital, especially in optimizing user experience and maintaining consistent product styling. Finally, the talk will compare four leading cloud AI IDE platforms specializing in web application generation, evaluating their effectiveness in creating web app prototypes.
